Sources are quoting Kelly Osbourne and saying she's calling Paris Hilton a bad influence on young girls. Kelly has so many caveats in her little anecdote that she doesn't really say that much.

I'll say something, any young girl that chooses 24 year old amateur porn star/reality TV personality Paris Hilton as a role model needs to be sent to some kind of boot camp ASAP.

Kelly Clarkson, who won the first season of the hit US show, American Idol, has refused to let the program's producers use any of her hits for wannabes to sing in its latest run, which started last night.

The Idol franchise is a huge money maker and Kelly Clarkson has been one of it's biggest successes. I mentioned the amazing all encompassing contract that Idol contestants must sign in a previous post. Now that Kelly is refusing to cooperate with something that's not in the contract, Simon Cowell is bad mouthing her in the media.

I think the contestants should all choose the song 'Bitch' and dedicate it to Simon Cowell and then I think all the viewers should just not vote.

Hilary Duff has been having a successful, if not stellar, career in movies and music. She is in what looks to outsiders like a stable, healthy relationship with a normal seeming guy. She hasn't been making a spectacle of herself for the tabloids.

She should have known that, eventually, this crap would be too much for Lindsay Lohan and that they would no longer be best enemies.

The new target of Lindsay's bile appears to be Scarlett Johansson. The New York Post attributes some obscene bathroom wall writing to Miss Lohan, and the subject was Scarlett.

California Versus Paparazzi

As of today, the new harsher penalties for aggressive paparazzi are in effect.

Basically, the law makes it so pictures of celebrities obtained by breaking laws will cost the photographer and even the publishers MUCH MORE than they are worth.

I think there will be a shift towards 'making nice' with celebrities in order to get some photo opportunities.
