Paris Hilton Versus Brian Quintana

Brian Quintana has got to fight for his right to party, and to plan parties.

The close friend of Stavros Niarchos III has served Paris Hilton with a lawyer's “cease and desist” letter, claiming that her bad mouthing him in Hollywood is “ruining his reputation and interfering with his business relationships.”

He is an events producer and is reportedly among the group of Stavros' friends that Paris Hilton instructed security to eject from an after-party for the American Music Awards.

Oprah Versus Lucy Diamond...who the (expletive deleted) is Lucy Diamond?

A virtually unknown rapper has managed to get more than 15 minutes of fame by recording a lyric about finger-f*****g Oprah Winfrey.

Oprah's people claim to have been unaware of the track and deny the existence of a cease and desist letter.

Lucy Diamond's response to the supposed emails from Oprah's assistant came in the form of a followup track:
“Now I received an email from Oprah’s assistant/ Saying my career would be over in an instant/ If I released that song and put the diss in/ Oh’ you rang the bell, bitch I thought you’d go the distance…I got a Hippo from Harpo whose appetite’s hungry/ Damn Oprah, don’t you have enough money?”

Foxy Brown Versus Her Trial Judge

Rapper Foxy Brown was handcuffed and threatened with jail after she stuck her tongue out at a New York judge who asked her to stop chewing gum.

She is expected to plead guilty to assaulting two nail salon workers during a row over payment.

For anyone under 20, Foxy Brown is the rapper who had a hit record in 1998, not the mysery solving rapper with the sweet a** from Comedy Central. She's called Foxxy Love.

David Letterman Has To Stay Away From Fruitcake This Christmas

David Letterman has been temporarily restrained by a woman who believes that he torments her over the airwaves using a secret code.

New Mexico resident Colleen Nestler filed court documents late last week, alleging that Letterman has been using code words, gestures and "eye expressions" for more than 10 years to convey his desire to marry her and train her as his cohost.

Did the judge even think of suggesting that Colleen should stop watching late night TV ?

71% of People's readers and 76% of Star magazine's blamed Jessica Simpson and not Nick Lachey for ruining their three-year marriage.

These stats have kicked Jessica's PR team into overdrive. Expect to see stories about Nick Lachey and his lazy, selfish, unfaithful, evil ways at the checkout aisle tomorrow.

Mary-Kate Versus Paris Hilton

It almost goes without saying that these two are no longer friendly, but since she said it, I'll post it.

Mary-Kate Olsen told W mag: “Paris and I always only had nice things to say about each other. Now I guess you can tell we’re not talking. It’s a hurtful and painful subject. I miss [Niarchos] and I love him, and I don’t speak with him anymore.”

Moby Versus Eminem

Moby is going on record again as being very critical of the messages being sent by the lyrics of Eminem and others.

On his website Moby asks: "If a musician made a record wherein he talked about killing Blacks and Jews would he get covered in the press and played on radio and MTV? If the answer is 'no' (as it should be), then why is radio and MTV filled with music that has lyrics about killing and brutalising women and gays?"

I think it will be cool to have them publicly debate the issues of freedom and responsibility that are at the heart of the argument. They'll probably both just exploit the thing in an effort to increase sales.

Kanye West Versus The Grammy Awards

When Kanye West heard that his Late Registration LP would be a likely contender for Album of the Year — but wouldn't win because of his tendency to run his mouth (particularly his comment that "George Bush doesn't care about black people")he immediately started running his mouth:
"If I don't win Album of the Year, I'm gonna really have a problem with that. I can never talk myself out of [winning], you know why? Because I put in the work. I don't care if I jumped up and down right now on the couch like Tom Cruise. I don't care what I do, I don't care how much I stunt — you can never take away from the amount of work I put into it. So I don't wanna hear all of that politically correct stuff."
I predict a somewhat interesting show but you don't have to stay up late to watch it; the good parts will be on the news.

Lil' Bow Wow Calls Will Smith A Gimmick

Bow Wow better hope Will Smith doesn't go all 'Ali' on him after the comments he made to the music press:
”But to me, honestly Will wasn’t like a real rapper. He was more like a gimmick.”
I think that the artist formerly known as Lil' Bow Wow lacks perspective. BTW, he should get the sysadmin at Sony to take the lil out of his web address.
